Have Your Questions Answered By Joining My ‘Ask Andy At Home’ Webinars

Ask Andy Street West Midlands Mayor From Home

I am reaching out to the region, by relaunching my popular ‘Ask Andy’ public meetings with a series of 15 live webinars.

The ‘Ask Andy At Home’ webinars will enlist the help of MPs and council leaders across the West Midlands to enable residents to put their questions to me on local issues.

I always hugely enjoyed my Ask Andy events, which were held in all kinds of places from town halls to pubs, because they provided a real opportunity for people to ask questions and have their say.

They were always lively and extremely useful in terms of understanding what people thought and hearing the challenges faced by each of the communities that make up the West Midlands.

For the time being, the pandemic has brought all that to a halt, so we have decided to launch Ask Andy At Home, allowing people to get involved from the comfort of their own homes.

Local MPs will host the webinars, which residents will have to register to join on zoom.

In Birmingham, Northfield’s Gary Sambrook and Sutton Coldfield’s Andrew Mitchell will join Mr Street, while Meriden MP Saqib Bhatti MP and Solihull and Shirley MP Julian Knight will also host webinars.

Across the Black Country, nine webinars will be hosted by local MPs Wendy Morton (Aldridge), Marco Longhi (Dudley North), Stuart Anderson (Wolverhampton), Nicola Richards (West Brom East), Jane Stevenson (Wolverhampton North East), Mike Wood MP (Dudley South), James Morris MP (Rowley Regis and Halesowen), Suzanne Webb (Stourbridge), Eddie Hughes (Walsall North) and Shaun Bailey (West Brom West).

MP Margot James will also host a special Ask Andy At Home to discuss Mr Street’s role in attracting a crucial Gigafactory to the West Midlands, to manufacture the batteries needed for the next generation of cars made in the region.

The first Ask Andy At Home is tomorrow (Friday, 19th February) with the rest running throughout March.
